Brooke Weston Academy
This 600 square metre building at the Brooke Weston Academy in Corby, Northamptonshire, incorporates a library and ICT suite. Its main architectural feature is an exposed steel roof truss with rod ties, and a glazed lantern, thoughtfully reflecting the technological nature of the Academy.
College Principal Mr Peter Simpson commented, "The new library has a wonderful feeling of spaciousness, and the acoustics help to give it a really purposeful atmosphere."
