The company's former premises were in a constricted part of the High Street where it was impossible to extend them to meet the growing business requirement. There was a suitable site within half a mile adjacent to the main A6. This was purchased and the project involved gaining planning permission and then converting a 19th century brick building which had previously been used for a variety of purposes, including a dairy.
The building has been substantially extended and completely reclad, and now has all the appearance of a modern motor trade premises.
