City Learning Centre
Luton
This £1.2m city learning centre acts as a special electronic learning hub for all of Luton's secondary schools, and provides a community facility to promote lifelong learning. The centre has a cyber cafe with play facilities for children, two computer learning suites, facilities for video-conferencing, lectures and performances, a computer lighting suite and a digital recording studio. There are full facilities for those with disabilities.
The centre was developed under the Government's "Excellence in Cities" programme, sponsored by the DfES.
