Mixed-use Schemes
Masterplans have been designed for two new multi-million pound mixed-use developments in Higham Ferrers in East Northamptonshire. The smaller of the two schemes, at Station Road, includes 40 new three- and four-bedroom homes. There are plans for an 81-bed hotel, a fitness centre and gym, an office building and a children's nursery.
The larger scheme, which lies between the Ferrers School and the A6 by-pass, provides some 300 homes, ranging from one-bedroom apartments through to four-bed detached houses.
There would also be a small commercial development and new leisure facilities. Facilities for the adjacent school would be expanded.
