GSS was invited to take over the management and detailed design of this complex project, obtain additional funding, and take it through to completion.
The project included a 220-seat theatre with flexible layouts, variable acoustics, and high specification lighting and sound equipment. There was also a dance studio, a restaurant, an art gallery with associated accommodation, and the refurbishment of listed buildings.
Five sophisticated art features were integral to the design, and their installation required close collaboration with both artists and contractors.
