Rothwell Infants School
The new 39-place nursery at Rothwell, the first to be constructed in Northamptonshire for 18 years, was the result of a successful design for a competition held by the County Council to produce an innovative building to form the flagship of their nursery building programme.
The concept for a large multi-purpose area, catering for all aspects of teaching, incorporates the four elements of earth, fire, wind and water, together with the four seasons, the four primary colours, and the four compass points.
