This iconic development for Leicester Housing Association consists of 27 affordable houses and flats on a former brownfield site that was owned by Corby Borough Council and the adjacent school. Following redevelopment proposals from GSS, the site was cleared and sold to LHA, with the sale of the land resulting in a new Children’s Centre.
The homes range from two-bed flats to three-storey four-bedroom houses. Fourteen of the properties are rental, nine are for sale on a shared ownership basis, and four are for intermediate rent. The scheme has helped to regenerate this part of Corby.
The contractors were Lindum Sturgeon of Lincoln.
