Holdenby House – Northamptonshire
GSSArchitecture are the Retained Architects for Holdenby House, which is a Scheduled Ancient Monument and a Grade I listed building in Northamptonshire.
The original house was begun after 1570 and was completed in 1583. the building was used to imprison King Charles I after the Battle of Naseby.
To date, GSSArchitecture have built a new swimming pool and have carried out maintenance inspections, as well as refurbishing Lady Annally’s suite, undertaking structural repairs and the redecoration of the dining room. GSSArchitecture have also modernised the first floor bathroom accommodation.
