Tresham College – Corby Manor House
GSSArchitecture were appointed as Architects and Quantity Surveyors to fully restore and convert Corby Manor House into the School of Catering for Tresham College, a leading institute in the provision of further and higher education courses.
The building, which had been completely destroyed by fire, now boasts a number of teaching kitchens, teaching and conference rooms, and a restaurant, all of which can accommodate a wide selection of further and higher education catering courses, as well as serving the public. Coincidentally, the building was originally designed by GSS founding partner John Alfred Gotch in 1905.
GSSArchitecture worked closely with the client, catering specialists and other consultants in order to provide a state-of-the-art, modern facility. However, throughout the design and construction process conserving the building’s original heritage remained of paramount importance.
