Innovative New School Progressing Well

Considerable progress has been made at the site for the new Abbey View Primary Academy in High Wycombe

The school is being constructed using an innovative, highly sustainable, off-site construction system which utilises structural insulated panels (SIPS), which allow for great savings in time, money and labor.

Construction started on phase 1 of the academy in October last year, and once finished will provide space for 210 pupils, plus 26 nursery places.

The academy is being built in conjunction with Buckinghamshire County Council by Morgan Sindall Construction & Infrastructure, with GSS employed as Architects and Principal Designers for this project.
