We are delighted to announce that our latest project at St. Mary’s Hospital in Kettering has recently started on site.
GSSArchitecture are proud to have had the opportunity to work on a number of projects at the site over the years, with a strong relationship being formed when Founder of GSSArchitecture, John Alfred Gotch, designed some of the original buildings on the site over 100 years ago.
Our Special Projects Team are now working on refurbishment of the link corridor between the Kitchen and the Dryland Block. Previous works at the hospital have included repairs and refurbishments of the Administration Block, Oakwood Centre and Carey Block, all in order to improve the suitability of the site for it’s contemporary use.
As a listed building on a live Hospital site, there are a number of challenging factors that needed to be considered by our Special Projects Team, to ensure that potential disruptions to staff and patients are minimised. Our Special Projects Team have completed a great deal of projects with challenges such as these, their skills and experience ensure they achieve high standard, safe and cost effective solutions to the Client’s brief.
If you have an upcoming project with challenges similar to this, please feel free to get in touch to find out how GSSArchitecture could assist you.
